Islam and Christian Theology, Pt 1 Vol 2

A four-volume study of the inter-relation between the theological teaching of Islam and that of the Christian Fathers and of mediaeval theologians.A ground-breaking four-volume study of the inter-relation between the theological teaching of Islam and the theological content in the teaching of the Christian Fathers and of medieval theologians. The first two volumes contain a preparatory historical survey down to the close of Christian ascendancy in the Near East, presenting the student with a complete view of the whole theological position as it was at the end of the period. The second two volumes then comprise a study of the subsequent medieval developments.
