But Aunt Amelia turns out to be rather different from expected . . . and a LOT more fun!Aunt Amelia is a charmingly funny, warm and beautiful story from Rebecca Cobb, the hugely talented creator of Lunchtime.Gorgeous illustrations accompany sweet, funny, friendly text - every child (and adult!) will wish for an aunt like Amelia!

Having collaborated on three picture storybooks with Orange-Prize winner Helen Dunmore, Rebecca's solo books include the heart-breakingly beautiful Missing Mummy, the gloriously funny Aunt Amelia and Lunchtime, which won the Waterstone's Children's Picture Book Prize and was shortlisted for the CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal. In addition, Rebecca has illustrated picture books written by Richard Curtis, and her stunning artwork accompanies Julia Donaldson's lyrical story The Paper Dolls - also shortlisted for the Greenaway Medal. Rebecca lives in Cornwall with her husband and young daughter.Praise for Rebecca: "[Rebecca] Cobb's illustrations capture the joy of childhood" Sunday Times

Recensioner i media

One of my favourite books of the year from rising star Cobb who missed out on this year's Greenaway but will win it one day. Exquisite illustrations, charming and funny. I love her child's eye view.
