Beskrivning
A stunning novel in verse about memories, family and the power of nature from award-winning author, Eilish Fisher.Caoimhe's mother drowned when she was just a baby. She doesn’t remember her at all, just fragments of daydreams and questions that her dad and others in her small coastal village can’t, or won’t, answer. The only thing Caoimhe’s sure of is that her mother is the reason her dad sometimes disappears to sea, searching for something just out of reach. . .So, when her dad’s disappearances get longer, Caoimhe seeks out Brigid, the old lady who lives on the outskirts of the village who people say can take away memories and pain. At Brigid’s cottage she meets Mara, a strange girl surrounded by secrets. But where did she come from? Why is she so drawn to the sea? And what does she know about Caoimhe's family. . .?
