American Economic Impact on Canada

The papers in this book were delivered in the Summer of 1958 at a seminar of the Duke University Commonwealth Studies Center. The papers cover four main areas: the effects of American influence on Canadian economic policy; the repercussions of American farm policies on Canadian agriculture; the extent and effects of American investments in Canada; and the influence of American labor organizations and policies on Canadian labor.
