MICKEY PEARLMAN is the editor of American Women Writing Fiction: Memory, Identity, Family, Space (1989), of Mother Puzzles: Daughters and Mothers in Contemporary American Literature (Greenwood Press, 1989), and of the forthcoming Canadian Women Writing Fiction. She is the coauthor of Inter/View: Talks with America's Writing Women (A Voice of One's Own in paper) and of Tillie Olsen.
