    Beskrivning

Cyber-Physical Structures of Power Applications looks at the necessary cyber-physical structures for the proper operation of power applications and the challenges and future trends of cyber-physical power applications. This reference considers the coordination and control of power applications necessary for successful implementation of communication networks, as well as the effects on power application physical components, cyber-infrastructures, and controllers. The book also previews challenges (e.g., vulnerability to cyber-attacks) and future trends of cyber structures in control strategies in both large and small power systems.

Frede Blaabjerg's current research interests include power electronics and its applications, such as in wind turbines, PV systems, reliability, Power-2-X, power quality, and adjustable speed drives. He has published more than 900 journal papers in the fields of power electronics and its applications. He is the co-author of ten monographs and editor of twenty books in power electronics and its applications eg. the series (4 volumes) Control of Power Electronic Converters and Systems published by Academic Press/Elsevier.Mohammad Reza Habibi is currently working toward a Ph.D. degree with the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Denmark. His current research interests include cyber-physical systems, intelligent energy systems, application of artificial intelligence in power electronics and power systems, advanced control of power converters, modeling, and control of energy storage systems, modeling, and secure control of DC distribution systems and microgrids. He is currently working on cyber-physical applications of DC microgrids. He published a paper and also submitted some papers related to cyber-attack detection and mitigation in DC microgrids in IEEE journals. Tomislav Dragičević received the M.Sc. and the industrial Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Zagreb, Croatia, in 2009 and 2013, respectively. From 2013 until 2016, he has been a Postdoctoral research associate at Aalborg University, Denmark. From March 2016 until 2020, he has been an Associate Professor at Aalborg University, Denmark. From April 2020, he is a Professor at the Technical University of Denmark. He made a guest professor stay at Nottingham University, UK, during spring/summer of 2018. His principal field of interest is the design and control of DC distributions systems and microgrids and the application of advanced modeling and control concepts to power electronic systems. He has authored and co-authored more than 200 technical publications (more than 100 of them are published in international journals, mostly in IEEE) in his domain of interest, 8 book chapters, and a book in the field. He serves as Associate Editor in the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS, in IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON POWER ELECTRONICS, in IEEE Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics and in IEEE Industrial Electronics Magazine. Prof. Dragičević is a recipient of the Končar prize for the best industrial Ph.D. thesis in Croatia, a Robert Mayer Energy Conservation award, and from 2019 he is an Alexander von Humboldt fellow. Dr. Hamid Reza Baghaee received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT) in 2017. He was a short-term scientist with CERN and ABB Switzerland in 2014. In 2022, he joined the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Tarbiat Moadares University (TMU), Tehran, Iran, where he is now an Assistant Professor. He has authored and contributed to numerous books and journals from publishers and groups such as Elsevier, IEEE, and IET, and has presented at numerous international conferences. His book, Microgrids and Methods of Analysis was selected as best book of the year in the power and energy industry of Iran by the technical committee of the Iran Ministry of Energy (MOE). He has received several other awards for his research and work. His special fields of interest are micro- and smart grids, cyber-physical power systems, power system cyber security and cyber-resiliency, application of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) and big data analytics in power systems, real-time simulation of power systems, distributed generation, and renewable energy resources, FACTS, HVDC and custom power devices, power electronics applications in power systems, Power Electronics-Dominated Grids (PEDGs), power quality, real-time simulation of power systems, and power system operation, control, monitoring, and protection.
