HUGH COMPSTON is Lecturer in Politics at the School of European Studies, Cardiff University. His publications include The New Politics of Unemployment: Radical Policy Initiatives in Western Europe. - JUSTIN GREENWOOD is Jean Monnet Professor of European Public Administration at the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. He is author/editor of a number of book on interest representation and interest association in the EU, an editor of the only EU studies journal to be published in the USA, Current Politics and Economics of Europe.
