Reporting Histopathology Sections

Writing comprehensive, accurate and objective histopathology reports is not an easy task, as any trainee or junior histopathologist will know. This book provides some much-needed guidelines, offering a blueprint for structuring reports so that they contain all the necessary clinical detail. The chapters (drawing upon the experience and expertise of 31 contributors) deal systematically with most of the common specimens likely to be recieved in a histopathology laboratory and lists the features which should be considered. Numerous example reports are presented and information given on the clinical details which, ideally, should be available.
