Must Girls Love

After her sister Miya's tragic suicide, Sabrina wrote to express all her emotions: shock, sadness, love, disbelief, anger. The youngest of the four sisters, and a recent graduate of Johns Hopkins University, 22-year-old Sabrina deconstructs her family's dynamics, Miya's issues, and ultimately her own issues in order to accept why Miya killed herself and understand why she struggles as she does. The book traces what happens to a family and to an individual in the year following such a tragedy. It also illustrates Miya's favorite phrase, "e;Must Girls Love,"e; that celebrates the bond among four sisters and their parents.
