Beskrivning
In this companion to Bookie & Cookie, the friends find themselves on a blank page, wondering what might be next. Bookie imagines something wonderful such as a bright sunny day, but Cookie worries that it might be something terrible, like an awful stormy day. 'We might find a field full of butterflies,' Bookie suggests, but Cookie is afraid it might instead be a marsh full of mosquitoes! Will Bookie ever be able to convince his nervous friend to turn the page and find out? A delightful surprise is waiting there.

Recensioner i media

"Childlike crayon drawings fill each page with color and bring the story to life. This story teaches young children the importance of mindset and perspective, making it a first purchase for all collections." —School Library Journal"The story offers a lighthearted reminder about optimism, since, as Bookie points out, things might turn out just fine after all. The contrast between Bookie’s and Cookie’s imaginings and their witty back-and-forth results in a playfully self-aware story. Another creative tale of friendship and perspective." —Kirkus
