Professor Sampford is Foundation Dean of Law at Griffith University he is director of the Institute for Ethics, Governance and Law (a joint initiative of the United Nations University and Griffith University) and convenor of the Australia Research Council's Governance Research Network. Ramesh Thakur is a Professor of political science and a peace researcher. Professor Thakur is Senior Vice Rector for Peace and Governance at the United Nations University.
