Evan Pheiffer is a journalist based in Istanbul, Turkey. He has previously reported from Latin America, the Middle East, Europe, and the former USSR, where his writing has appeared in Foreign Policy, Le Monde diplomatique, New Lines Magazine, Los Angeles Review of Books, Jacobin, Reset Dialogues, and The City Paper Bogotá.
