Carl and Alain live in Belgium and France, respectively. Ronan Badel was born in Brittany,France. A graduate of Decorative Arts ofStrasbourg, he began writing and illustrating children's books,publishing his first book in 1998. He is the illustrator of All the Things Santa Claus Will Never Do, All the Things a Teacher Will Never Say, All the Things Dad Will Always Say, and The Wolf Will Not Come (Kirkus Reviews, Starred Review and Book of the Year). He lives in Vannes, France.
