Jag gillar den här boken skarpt; men den är helt klart baserad på Bioshock 1 & 2, även om det finns vissa smådetaljer som kanske är "fel" i något avseende. Det finns vissa större saker som man kan argumentera inte är helt i linje med historien så som den utvecklas iom Bioshock Infinite, men åas kan man argumentera att Infinite's natur gör att alla Bioshock-historier är "giltiga".
Författaren har i princip använt loggarna i Bioshock och pusslat ihop en sammanhängande berättelse från dem, och fyllt ut med vad som känns som rimliga extrapoleringar. Men utöver detta så har Shirley fått med detaljer från spelen som han egentligen inte hade behövt, som gör att man som fan av spelen uppskattar historien desto mer.
Rekommenderas varmt till Bioshock-fans. Boken gjorde att jag ville spela om Bioshock 1 & 2, och bara det är anledning nog att läsa den. - 5/5 Nelly J
