   The book contains a collection of sermon with an introduction to each sermon by the translator. The intros give background of each sermon. The sermons well chosen. I have read the book, and I am going too re-read it. Fine insight to the Word of God, fine application on our world. For me, this is not the first book of Dietrich Bonhoeffer I"ve read. This book was the third one. But I will advise this for Bonhoeffers readers and for some people (Bonhoeffers non-readers) who look forward to learn how the Word of God has deep meaning in our violent world.
