Half a Boat Won't Float

I'm not a good builder--I'll leave it half done. I'm quitting this job--this is really no fun. Noah and his wife are asleep when God quietly whispers in Noah's ear, "Jump out of bed, Noah, and build a big boat. Make it sturdy and strong; make sure it can float." Noah dutifully jumps to his feet and begins to build the ark while Mrs. Noah makes the curtains. But halfway through, tiredness and discouragement creep in. Will Noah finish the task God gave him or will he decide it's too hard? What will happen if he leaves his boat only half done? This irresistible rhyming retelling of Noah's ark for children ages 4 to 8 is perfect for:● Bedtime and storytime read-alouds● Conversations about perseverance● Teaching that God equips us● Gifting for the child in your lifeThis telling of a beloved Bible story celebrates how God calls each of us to a special task and gives us the skills we need to complete it. Half a Boat Won't Float is an endearing, entertaining way to encourage conversations about God-given responsibilities, perseverance, and achieving our goals.
