Teaching Nutrition

Originally published by Abt Books in 1981, this volume reports some of the preliminary results of an evaluation of the Nutrition Education and Training (NET) Program established in 1977. The legislative purpose of the program was to "encourage effective dissemination of scientifically valid information to children participating or eligible to participate in school lunch and related child nutrition programs." The evaluation was initiated by the U.S.D.A. and conducted by Abt Associates Inc. of Cambridge, Massachusetts.
