Beskrivning
Urbane and cosmopolitan, Stanley Moss' poems are the work of a writer once described as 'a citizen of the world, both past and present, one who seems to have been everywhere and missed nothing'. In strong lyrics and searching narratives he explores the cultural and spiritual faultlines of our time. As Peter Reading put it, 'The mixture is rich and the erudition worn lightly. What is most convincingly conveyed is a care for humanity'.

Recensioner i media

'These are poems, out of the fullness of a life, that impress me as being all at once deep, strange, loving, bountiful, and a joy to read' - Stanley Kunitz'Moss's self-dramatization is balanced by a splendid intelligence, so that his themes (the hidden life, the collapse of religion and culture, and so on) are airborne and not foundered by his rhetoric' - John Fuller
