Scrolls of Bishop Timotheus

Discovered at the fortress of Qasr Ibrim in 1964, the scrolls are among the finest surviving exmaples of medieval Letters Testimonial issued by a Patriarc of the Coptoc Church to a bishop after his consecration and before his subsequent enthronement.
