Containing numerous cross references to other texts and sources, this book aims to become a standard source of information on the mineral potentials in areas of Cornwall. The reports have been commissioned by the Department of Trade and Industry.
John Trounson was a graduate of the Camborne School of Mines and a much respected Governor of the School for a number of years. He worked unceasingly to further his own knowledge of the lodes and mines of Cornwall and became the father figure of local mining lore.
