Being diagnosed with prostate cancer once in a lifetime is enough. In 2011, Alan White was facing a second round with this life-threatening disease.

Alan is the facilitator of the local Prostate Cancer Support Group in Bayside Melbourne. He is also involved in ongoing research through the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre to develop better ways of helping men make well-informed choices about their prostate cancer treatment. He continues to work as a counsellor, with a special focus on men''s health and wellbeing.
