In the Blink of an Eye

Barbara Melvin has a secret to her success: her five Ps. And never were they more important than the day she woke up in her Naples, Florida home, blind. In the blink of an eye, life changed. Her carefree days as a business banking leader became filled with doctor visits amid long bouts of pain and healing. She thought back to the days of growing up in rural Virginia, moving to Michigan after high school, marrying the love of her life, and accepting an unexpected offer from a stranger to work in banking. She’d made the most of that offer. Everything was bright and sunshiny in her life until, literally, it went dark. This is the story of one woman’s path up the career ladder, toppling into darkness, and then climbing into the light again.
