Maria Rice Bellamy is author of Bridges to Memory: Postmemory in Contemporary Ethnic American Women's Fiction (2015) and co-editor of Inheritance, a special issue of Women's Studies Quarterly (2020). She is associate professor of English at the College of Staten Island (CUNY) and Director of African and African Diaspora Studies.
