Structural Engineering and Industrial Architecture

Saeed Ghaffarpour Jahromi, is currently a faculty member of the Civil Engineering Department at Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University. Saeed was the head of the Civil Engineering Faculty form October 2014 to May 2021. Saeed has published five professional books, more than 65 refereed journal papers and more than 170 conference proceedings articles. Also, he is the referee of more than 15 national and international journals. His most important research interests are in earthquake geotechnical engineering and pavement engineering. He has been the secretary of several national and international conferences so far. He has also been head of the tournament for national student competitions of Geo-wall in Iran (2015 and 2016).Huseyin Bilgin, a professor of Civil Engineering at Epoka University, Tirana Albania, is actively taking part in research related to the response of structures to extreme loads focusing on the areas of structural and earthquake engineering with the emphasis on problems of non-linearity and performance evaluation of members, connections and structures. He has been involved in several research projects in these areas and has worked as an expert consultant on numerous engineering projects mostly made of reinforced concrete, but also of other structural materials. He has also participated in various national and international scientific activities related to structural and earthquake engineering.
