Zhi Ling Lee is a Malaysian-born illustrator based in London. She loves telling stories through richly-textured illustrations that invoke curiosity and wonder. With a background in software engineering, she brings a unique perspective to her creative projects – a duality wherein whimsical and playful illustrations are anchored on thoughtful concepts and solid design principles.Besides illustrating for children’s publishing, Zhi Ling’s artwork has also been licensed to clients such as Disney, Netflix and Target. In 2021 and 2020, Zhi Ling was awarded Highly Commended Illustrator in the Faber Andlyn FAB Prize for Illustration.She is the illustrator of the Campbell Books Busy Lunar New Year and Happy Lunar New Year Sticker Activity Book.
