He is also Dean of the Sustainable Energy & Environmental Society Open Innovation Research Organization and President of the Consortium for Research Strategy of Next Generation Heat Pump Technology. Since 2023 he has also been President of the Japanese Society of Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers.
