Thick Richard the Third

Thick Richard (real name Clever Dick) has performed on BBC Radio 4, presented BBC Radio 6 Music’s Beat of the Day, and toured with Kae Tempest, John Hegley, Arthur Smith, The Fall, Jerry Sadowitz, The Lovely Eggs, and Dr John Cooper Clarke. He regularly performs spoken word at UK festivals, and toured the nation with his one-man show, Swear School (a crash course in everything you wanted to know about bad language – with puppets). He lives in Manchester, where he has hosted an NME Awards party and co-hosted national spoken word franchise Bang Said the Gun during its six-month run at the city’s Dancehouse Theatre.
