He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). Álvaro Ortega Manjavacas is a Senior Power Systems Researcher in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at University College Dublin.
