Discovering the Internet

Gary B. Shelly wrote and published his first computer education textbook in 1969. More than twenty million copies of Shelly Cashman Series' textbooks have been sold. Gary and a talented group of contributing authors have produced books on computer programming, computer concepts, and application software that are the leading textbooks in the computer technology market today. Gary has hosted the annual Shelly Cashman Institute, a week-long training event focusing on the latest topics in technology, for the past 34 years. Jennifer T. Campbell has written and co-authored several other leading technology texts, including TECHNOLOGY FOR SUCCESS; DISCOVERING COMPUTERS: DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY, DATA, AND DEVICES; DISCOVERING THE INTERNET; WEB DESIGN: INTRODUCTORY; MICROSOFT EXPRESSION WEB INTRODUCTORY CONCEPTS AND TECHNIQUES; COMPUTER LITERACY BASICS: MICROSOFT OFFICE 2007 COMPANION; and MICROSOFT OFFICE QUICK REFERENCE POCKET GUIDE. For over 25 years, she has served integral roles in computer educational publishing as an editor, author and marketing manager. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from The College of William and Mary.
