Beskrivning
The race has got it all: multigenerational bonding; testing her personal strength; showing her willpower and character - she's sure it'll make her stand out and be catnip for admissions departments of the colleges she wants to attend. But Miranda's drive for success and perfection will run into obstacles. She'll need to confront not only what she wants, but why she wants it, while making the decisions about what's truly important to her, her friends, her family, and her future. In her graphic novel debut, writer Sarah Broyles has brought an engaging family dynamic to the page, and artist Hanna Schroy's artwork brings a soft yet grounded style to the page that invites readers into Miranda's world. Equal parts funny, challenging, and deeply relatable to anyone who's ever asked themselves "am I good enough?", Finish Lines brings a specifically singular story to life in a way that will speak to many readers.

Graduating with a BFA in sequential art from the Savannah College of Art and Design, she is best known for her debut graphic novel Last Dance as well as a plethora of self published mini comics and anthologies.
