Maisie Goes to the Farm

In a dystopian future Scotland, where psychological evaluations are mandatory and societal decay is rampant, Struan, a father burdened by his past, heads to a dilapidated family farm with his genetically modified daughter, Maisie. They seek refuge from the authorities, hiding out in the desolate landscape. Struan's story unfolds as he sits to talk with the "e;pirate,"e; a black-market android filled with the pirated software of multiple professions. He details his tumultuous love affair with the potentially psychopathic Diego and explains how it led him to the farm, where he plans to hide his illegally cloned child from the police.
