For television he created/co-created Pulling, Utopia and The Third Day. He also wrote the book for Matilda the Musical.

    We have a pool of amazingly talented playwrights in Britain, and we also have a quite separate talent pool producing comedy. There is very little dialogue between these two worlds, but Dennis is able to move very easily between them, and that is quite unique.
