Living in the shadows of his overbearing father and his brother’s Olympic success, Dan lets his training slip in favour of girls and booze. Then, an incident with his father minutes before a crucial bout splinters the family and exiles Dan from the ring. Years later, the birth of his own son reignites his competitive fire, and he takes his first tentative steps on the road to redemption. This edition was published to coincide with Fishamble's 2025 revival of Rise Productions' FIGHT NIGHT in New York, to mark its 15th anniversary. The play was presented at 59E59 Theaters, as part of 1st Irish Festival.
