Jack MacGregor is a playwright and director from the Scottish Highlands. Jack's work has been awarded a Fringe First, a Scottish Arts Club Leading Light Award, a Summerhall Lustrum Prize, and a bursary from MGCfutures to support his work as a playwright. Shortlisted finalist for the St. Andrews Playwright Award, a longlisted director the JMK Directing Award, and a longlisted writer for the RSC’s 37 Plays competition.Jack has been a resident artist with the National Theatre of Scotland, an associate artist with Dogstar Theatre Company, and was a fellowship writer for the Scottish Society of Playwrights 50th anniversary. Jack has recently been awarded a Playwright Studio Scotland's Self-Led Project grant. Jack has recently showcased new work at the Tron Theatre, Eden Court Theatre, and the Cromarty-based artist collective "We Have Questions".
