The author of this paper is to try to expose the historical events that postulated the creation of a large state, called Latin American Union, then perform a series of tests that may indicate why did not materialize and a group of countries was formed, with its border and cultural rivalries.In the final part the author suggests that two hundred years after the establishment of the South American nations is possible to form the Latin American Union, a nation that can cope with the social and economic ills afflicting citizens and to strengthen and contribute to the dark interests of those who want us to be eternal and infinitely disunited.
