Street

The Pacific Northwest is no stranger to serial killers, and when bodies start to pile up in Seattle and the police have no clue, it falls to the denizens of the streets of Seattle to bring this new murderer to justice. Working out of an abandoned church they call "e;Sanctuary,"e; an unlikely group of five craft an unusual plan. Led by an unnamed actor with the mystical ability to assume any role he requires, these ragtag characters engage in a deadly game of "e;Catch the Killer."e; In Street, Jack Cady transforms the tropes of the "e;true crime thriller"e; into a moving meditation on a place, its people, and what must be done to save those whom society has forgotten.  This edition of Street includes an essay entitled "e;Birds,"e; which is an excerpt from a project that was never realized.
