Steam on Scottish Metals

A vibrant selection of Henry Elliott’s images documents a steam tour around Scotland, covering the East side, the Central belt and the West side up towards Inverness and the Kyle of Lochalsh. A variety of railtours are included as well as the legendary Jacobite train, renowned as the ‘Hogwarts Express’ in the Harry Potter films, and the twenty-one-arched Glenfinnan Viaduct, also made famous in those films. A splendid array of locomotives is showcased, including the celebrated Flying Scotsman, pictured crossing the UNESCO heritage site of the Forth Bridge near Edinburgh.
