Time Traveller from the Air, Volume 1

The Time Traveller from the Air is a different kind of history book, offering an alternative way of visualising the past. It offers a journey into prehistory, presenting breathtaking photographs and cutting-edge imagery to show the hidden and vanished sites that lie on the edge of our modern lives. Each site is accompanied by prose that gives a voice to the forgotten peoples that built and used these ancient temples, burial mounds and great earthworks that lie scattered across the North of England.Lost sites are revealed, and in doing so give shape and context to our ancestors. We see the world through their eyes and, even if just for a brief moment, we hear their voices echo across the millennia.Come with us on our journey. The past is waiting.
