Camila the Invention Star

Alicia Salazar is a Mexican American children’s book author who has written for blogs, magazines, and education publishers. She was also once an elementary school teacher and a marine biologist. She currently lives in the suburbs of Houston, TX, but is a city girl at heart. When she is not dreaming up new adventures to experience, she is turning her adventures into stories for kids. Thais Damião is a Brazilian illustrator and graphic designer. She studied graphic design at Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo, followed by an MA at Academy of Art University, where she specialized in visual development, in the beautiful city of San Francisco, California. Born and raised in a small city in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she spent her childhood playing with her brother and cousins and also drawing all the time. Enchanted by children since she was a child, her illustrations are all dedicated to them. Mario Gushiken is a digital artist from São Paulo, Brazil. Drawing was always a hobby for him as a child, and he is very happy to have turned it into his career. Cartoon animations and video games from the 1990s and the 2000s were his main references when he started drawing. In 2014, Mario began working as a graphic designer and illustrator, and he became a full-time freelance illustrator in 2020. During his career, Mario has worked in animation, advertising, editorial, and today he is focused on the publishing industry. In his spare time, Mario likes to hang out with friends and play video games.
