Mer om författaren

Born in Burma, but raised and educated in Northern Ireland, Dick Strawbridge retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2001 before becoming a full-time television presenter and author (with arguably the best moustache in showbusiness). Angel Strawbridge is a 1940s vintage-clad redhead from East London. She is the founder of The Vintage Patisserie, a glamorous hospitality company, and author of the bestselling Vintage Tea Party series. Dick and Angel met and fell in love in 2010. In 2015 they bought a derelict château in the Pays de la Loire and became the subjects of the hugely popular Channel 4 hit Escape to the Château. In 2020 they published their first book together, A Year at the Château, and then the following year they released the follow-up, Living the Château Dream. Both became instant Sunday Times bestsellers on publication.
