CONSTANCE JORDAN has published widely on topics in Renaissance literature and culture. She is the author of Renaissance Feminism: Literary Texts and Political Models (1990) and Shakespeare's Monarchies: Ruler and Subject in the Romances (1997). She is co-editor of The Longman Anthology of British Literature (1999, 2003, 2006). KAREN CUNNINGHAM is a Lecturer in English at the University of California, Los Angeles.
