Sophy Henn studied fashion at Central Saint Martins, accidentally had a London-based career in advertising, then completed an MA in Illustration at the University of Brighton. Now she writes and illustrates children’s books full-time in Sussex. She was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal for Where Bear? in 2015 and was shortlisted for the AOI Illustration Awards in 2014. She was the World Book Day Illustrator for 2016.

The series of board books featuring Ted are strong and well-made with big flaps that older babies and toddlers can grip, pull and chew to their hearts’ content. Sophy Henn’s illustration is always bright, clear and appealing for little ones, and this edition featuring lots of jumping around is perfect to encourage lots of movement, animal noises and fun for everyone
