    The tales of Beedle the bard, eller barden Beedles berättelser som den heter på svenska är en översättning i form av runor till text från Hermione Granger i Harry Potter böckerna och noteringar av Dumbledore skrivna av Beedle som bodde på 1500-talet i Yorkshire. Denna bok är ett måste för sugna HP fans som vill läsa vidare i JK Rowlings värld, denna plus fantastiska vidunder och quidditch genom tiderna är några av dom böckerna som JK skrivit utanför Harry Potter, men som även är en del av the wizarding world. Boken berättar om olika häxor som drivs av makt, men som inser att dom bara är mänskliga i slutändan. Det är en kompanjonbok för olika trollkarlar och häxor i HP universumet, där alla barn har hört dessa berättelser tidigare. Illustrationerna av Chris Riddell är fina, men jag föredrar nog Lisbeth Zwergers version som både Tyskarna och Spanjorerna antog, varför vi fick Chris Riddells utgåva på svenska är ett mysterium. 5 av 5 för den engelska versionen trots illustrationerna, den får fullpott mestadel p.g.a den förstorade texten men också berättelserna i boken. Jag skulle nog tippa på att denna är ämnad för barn under 15 år men vuxna kan likväl läsa denna bok och njuta av ytterligare ett HP-tillägg.
