Hush

The first of bestselling author Cherry Adair''s edgy, sexy Lodestone trilogy following an exhilarating adventure of two thrill-seeking brothers who are kidnapped in Venezuela alongside a beautiful stranger and must risk their lives to escape.

Extreme sports enthusiasts Zakary and Gideon Stark travel the globe in search of thrilling adventures, but a trip to Venezuela to jump off the world’s highest falls catapults them into a perilous game of life or death where they don’t know the rules.

Kidnapped with a beautiful woman Zak had previously spent the night with but knows nothing about, the three are held as prisoners deep in the jungle. Waiting for a ransom they know will never come, the brothers must make a risky, death-defying escape that ultimately separates them, with Gideon on his own and Zak with the woman. Though the escape nearly claims Zak’s life, his recovery reveals a baffling new sixth sense: visions of a string of numbers run through his mind like a news crawl, though the meaning of the numbers remain unknown.

Now, to find his missing brother, Zak and the mysterious Acadia Gray will have to out-smart, out-gun, and out-maneuver not just the brutal kidnappers, but also a new player who joins the adrenaline game: a ruthless opponent who wants the Stark brothers dead—at any cost.
