Monica Gilbert is a child and adolescent therapeutic counsellor, with over a decade's experience working with children, young people and their families. In the last few years, she has transitioned into the therapeutic world. Monica is passionate about children's wellbeing, and she is a firm believer that all children need to see a positive representation of themselves in the books they read and the shows they watch as this subconsciously informs a perception of what they can and can't be. Monica is determined to change the narrative one book at a time. Victoria Oladele is a Senior Agile Delivery Manager by day, with a long history of working with children and young people. Victoria started her journey working with at-risk youth and studying social work in Southampton, before making a career change to IT and committing her personal life to supporting the empowerment of underrepresented groups through mentoring and her own voluntary organisations. Writing stories for young people to see themselves as the main character and make a positive impact in their world is just one part of this mantle.Sandhya Prabhat is an independent animator and illustrator from Chennai, working out of California, USA. She has illustrated children's books, as well as animating for TV and movies, and designing for social media platforms. Her clients include Penguin Random House India, HarperCollins India, Candlewick and Lantana Publishing.
