Recensioner i media

In an incredible new "world" set aboard a spaceship, York, a 14-year-old scavenger, searches for life amid Zoid attacks. The evocative text and detailed illustrations make a compelling read. The Bookseller With dazzling pen-and-ink illustrations to bring all the high-octane adventure to life, the Scavenger series looks like being an unmissable read for boys ready to boldly go where no man has gone before! Lancashire Evening Post Paul Stewart tells an engrossing and enjoyable tale, and it's a heady mix of some classic sci-fi ideas... Chris Riddell's art is as gorgeous as always. His busy and highly detailed style has always been memorable and atmospheric. A skilled world builder, Riddell's art tells the tale as lyrically and as intelligently as Stewart's words, and the two make for a dynamite team... This is the first of the series and we can only hope there is more to come. starburstmagazine.com
