Our Super Solar System

Our Super Solar System is aligned to the Common Core State Standards for English/Language Arts, addressing Literacy.RI.1.5 and Literacy.L.1.1. Large color photographs of the eight planets, the asteroid belt, comets, and dwarf planets along with narrative nonfiction text are used to illustrate the vastness and complexity of our solar system. This book should be paired with “Exploring the Solar System" (9781448888573) from the Rosen Common Core Readers Program to provide the alternative point of view on the same topic.
