CrossCurrents: the Spirituality of Parenting

The September issue of CrossCurrents is a special issue on the "Spirituality of Parenting". This issue brings together essays at the intersection of religious life and parenting. Essays are reflective, creative, and bring in the writers' own experiences of being a parent and how one brings religious or spiritual insights or practices into the parenting practice. Sometimes religious beliefs and practices cause a hindrance to good parenting and traditional values must be revised. Through it all, the spirituality of parenting is understood as a socio-political act.
