Sadie Hasler is an award-winning columnist, playwright and actor. The winner of the Columnist of the Year award for both the Society of Editors Regional Press Awards and the EDF Media Awards 2015, she is currently working on her first novel. Her theatre and performance shows include Lady Bones, Blazed, The Bastard Children of Remington Steele (Camden People’s Theatre, Leicester Square Theatre, 2012, Edinburgh Festival 2014) and The Secret Wives of Andy Williams (Camden People’s Theatre 2013, Edinburgh Festival 2014) Sadie is co-Artistic Director of Old Trunk theatre company alongside Sarah Mayhew.

Hasler's desperately funny play takes a potshot at a few sacred cows as the author explores what it means to be a modern woman. Jude and Susie initially appear as comic creations but gradually Hasler delves deeper into their history and the emerging play is both satisfying and emotionally resonant.
