In the Mist is a book that describes how resilient and forgiving children are. It describes a real life scenario children face that have been neglected by a parent. Two siblings pull together to help each other. One day the unexpected happens, a lady appears at their doorstep. It is the mother Esman and Kennedy long to see again. Separated by misfortunes, the mother has come back to reunite with her children. Using this book as a teaching tool will help relieve the emptiness of a child looking for answers.
